First SIINN Call has been closed on 5th of June 2012

The first transnational SIINN Call has been closed on the 5th of June 2012. 20 proposals have been submitted to the SIINN Call office. At the moment, the eligibility of these proposals is checked on national and transnational level. Many of the proposals address more than one topic. 8 proposals indicate “Establishment and development of models and methods for analytical tools, theoretical prediction, and characterization” as the focus of research, “Exposure assessment” and “Studies on Impacts of MNMs on environment” are the target of 3 proposals, and “Studies on properties and effects of MNM on human health” are planned to be addressed by 6 proposals. Altogether 98 Partners from 12 countries are participating in the submitted proposals. The evaluation will be performed during the coming months. The start of successful projects is expected at the beginning of next year.
